Washington Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our Bellevue Clinic. The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing internal care for delegated medical aspects of care with collaborating physician(s).

Responsibilities
  • Provides guidance and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practice
  • Order selected diagnostic tests and procedures as indicated by the patient's condition
  • Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
  • Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits; maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information; triages patient telephone calls and provides medical advice and guidance
  • Contributes to the success of the organization by offering his/her services as necessary
  • Anticipates and responds to the needs of others; aids in a courteous, quick manner; treats others with care and respect maintaining privacy, confidentiality and dignity, in accordance with current HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications
    • Previous GI medical experience required
    • Master of Science degree in Nursing
    • Current Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
    • Active involvement with professional organizations (ANA, WSNA, AANP, SGNA)
    • Current AANP or ANCC certification or AAPA
    • Current CPR/BLS Certification

    • Physical Activities and Requirements
    • Occasional travel may be required to other local locations on an as-needed basis to back-fill for vacations, etc.
    • Ability to stand and walk throughout the day, up to 10 hours per day
    • Prolonged periods of sitting and performing administrative duties including the use of computers
    • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach
    • Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed (up to 15 pounds)
