What's unique about this role?

Senior Review Consultation Managers are attorneys with extensive document review project management experience who serve as a central point of contact with counsel, client and internal Lighthouse stakeholders on projects requiring managed review. Review Consultation Managers consult on review project planning and workflow strategy - focusing first on how best to leverage technology, analytics and other Lighthouse consultative services to reduce data from linear review, and then to optimize workflows and incorporate appropriate technology to improve the speed and accuracy of any eyes-on review. The Senior Review Consultation Manager provides high level oversight and management of the work conducted by Lighthouse review staffing partners to ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables.

This is a dynamic leadership role focused on promoting a tech-forward approach to review that helps our clients find key documents early and produce high quality results while drastically reducing spend on linear document review. The position is highly consultative and centers on planning and leading complex projects such as projects spanning multiple jurisdictions and global matters, as well as advising clients on the development of enterprise review standards and driving adoption and execution of those standards across matters.

What will this person do?
    • Consult with client/counsel to design, implement, and supervise execution of matter-specific review plans that meet Lighthouse standards and project requirements
    • Advise on TAR selection and methodologies; design review workflows to maximize efficiency and accuracy gains from TAR and analytics
    • Recommend and drive best practices in review, engaging other Lighthouse teams where appropriate
    • Lead client/counsel conversations with acumen to address competing priorities and key stakeholders with different areas of focus
    • Engage with sales and client success teams
    • Advise on development of client enterprise-level review standards, including review workflow strategy and optimal application of technology
    • Train and develop protocols for Review Managers
    • Participate in client annual meetings
    • Generate project budgets in collaboration with sales and analytics teams
    • Serve as escalation point for review staffing partner, ensuring execution against throughput goals and output of quality deliverables
    • Consult on technology and analytics to drive efficiency in redaction application and privilege logging
    • Provide client-specific subject matter expertise on large scale complex matters across multiple stakeholders
    • Participate in company initiatives and other related duties as assigned

    • Strong leadership, ability to appropriately delegate tasks, and guide multiple internal and external teams in complex workflows while adhering to established project timelines and budget parameters
    • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and commitment to client satisfaction
    • Knowledge of litigation discovery process and objectives
    • Strong understanding of TAR processes, and ability to effectively and defensibly incorporate TAR and other analytics into review reduction and QC workflows
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills suited to a client-facing role, careful attention to detail, and superior technical aptitude
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or as part of a team
    • Proficiency as an end user in Relativity, Brainspace, Blackout or comparable platforms
    • Experience planning and managing reviews for MDLs or HSR Second Requests preferred
    • Eight+ years of experience as a document review manager with review provider or law firm
    • Experience leading complex multi-jurisdictional and global matters
    • Aptitude for building trust and successful client relationships


Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Lighthouse complies with compensation disclosure requirements for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

The expected pay for this role will range from $99,050 to $141,500 per year. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
