Your Role

As a Senior Director, You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team. In this client-facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery. The full-time position is based in San Francisco.

You will be:

  • Sourcing prospective clients (companies) and generating deal flow
  • Performing initial vetting (inc. calls/meetings with C-suite) of prospective clients
  • Liaising between prospective clients and the investment team to ensure smooth and effective due diligence and execution
  • Upkeeping full notation of the business cycle progress on CRM
  • Handling negotiations with prospective clients, together with the investment management team


You have:

  • 10-15 years experience at a top-tier financial institution: venture capital, private equity, commercial bank, debt/credit provider
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing role: sales, origination, relationship management
  • Demonstrable ability to originate and close transactions
  • Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst
  • Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape
  • Experience in and understanding of deal flow activity in credit/debt funds - an advantage
