Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The DNS is responsible for maintaining approved standards of resident care in the skilled nursing facility.

• Establishes the objectives for the department of nursing and the organizational structure to achieve the objectives.
• Provides guidance and direction on all nursing objectives.
• Partners with the Executive Director and other leaders to ensure care member and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee education; partner with educator to create engaging and effective orientation, assimilation to the organization, and maintain a knowledge of nursing skills and theory.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $175,000 per year

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Nursing services administration
• Current NYS RN license

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
