Job Description
The Division of Breast and Endocrine Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is actively recruiting a full-time, fellowship trained, academic breast surgical oncologist. Join a growing multidisciplinary breast program noted for innovative diagnostic and therapeutic options at the NCI-designated O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Successful candidates will be board-eligible or board-certified in general surgery and have fellowship training in breast surgical oncology or surgical oncology with significant breast experience. The division is committed to being a leader in academic surgery through compassionate care, innovative research and educational excellence. Candidates must demonstrate the highest level of quality patient care and a dedication for academic success.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with achievements, experience and training.
