Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: N/A Must-Have: EPIC experience Job Description: - Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.- Manage and monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Adhere to all established safety and infection control guidelines.- Participate in competency testing as required.- Familiarity with working in a 600+ bed academic hospital is preferred. - Flexibility to float to other units if required.
