Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab Outpatient Heart and Vascular Center

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab Outpatient Heart and Vascular Center at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, you will play a key role in assisting with a variety of minimally invasive interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Under the direction of the Manager, you will help perform:
You will receive extensive training to ensure your expertise and proficiency in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, handling a patient census ranging from 6 to 14 cases daily. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab Outpatient Heart and Vascular Center at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, you will play a key role in assisting with a variety of minimally invasive interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Under the direction of the Manager, you will help perform:
- Diagnostic imaging to assess for vascular blockages or narrowing.
- Vascular interventional procedures, including:
- Atherectomy
- Peripheral Angioplasty
- Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) treatment
- Intravascular Imaging
- Vein Ablations
- Stent placement
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) to evaluate structural heart disease, blood clots, or arrhythmias.
- Cardioversions
- Implantation or removal of subcutaneous rhythm monitors (Loop Recorders)

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience
- License/Certification:
- Current RN license in South Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required for Cardiac Rehab and Outpatient Heart and Vascular Center)
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience: 2 years of cardiac experience in an Outpatient Heart and Vascular Center
