Your tasks
- Engineer, design, develop, release, and continuously improve Brose mechatronic side door, liftgate and dropgate closure systems (including e-latches, Bowden cables, rods, mini-modules, complex functional chains, and safety closing components including crash brackets) for passenger, cargo, and commercial vehicles, using CATIA V5, Teamcenter, and SAP Production Planning amp; Control (PP) and Quality Management (QM) tools
- Act as single point of contact and exercise design, engineering, and technical responsibility for closure system development projects between OEM customer with communication and coordination of customer and internal vehicle/product specifications and requirements with Customer Team, Design and Central Functions
- Engineer and improve closure systems security and comfort including low effort when opening, silent closing, improved anti-theft device features and technology development for crash safety and protection
- Use Eventive and Excel tools to perform automotive component and subsystem statistical tolerance stack-up analysis of dimensions and static forces including kinematics, and highlighting critical parts, tolerances, and dimensions, and evaluating contribution to general functions
Your Profile
- Bachelor, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Design, or related
- Twenty-four months' experience as Engineer, Design Engineer, or related, using Eventive and Excel tools to perform automotive component and subsystem statistical tolerance stack-up analysis of dimensions and static forces including kinematics, and highlighting critical parts, tolerances, and dimensions, or related
