Are you ready for a new and exciting leadership opportunity with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Missisuaga site is looking for a new National Pricing Manager to join our Sea Logistics team.

YOUR ROLE

As the National Pricing Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring our continued success as the market leader in Sea Logistics. The Pricing team owns a customer touchpoint through every quotation, proposal or RFQ that is created. They must also balance a clear understanding of the market and a focused pricing strategy to increase market share/profitability with the National trade team while having a clear feeling for local markets and customers (current and target). You will report to the National Sea Logistics Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a clearpricing strategy to augment profitability but
    consistentlystrengthens our brand with our customers; both current
    and target
  • Consistent trainingon tools and platforms available for your
    pricing team toensure they have the tools to be successful
  • Develop pricing asone national team that leverages specific
    knowledge ofgeography, commodity, etc., to build knowledge
    across the entiregroup that can support each other
  • Ensure thatlearning & development opportunities are understood
    for each team memberto enhance their current skills and growth
    opportunities
  • Createopportunities for your team to collaborate in various
    settings (ie. zoom,workshops, in-person team meetings)
  • Connect your team tosubject matter experts and resources that
    support theirworking knowledge of the market and market
    dynamics
  • Encourageinteraction between your team and stakeholders
    (Trade, BusinessDevelopment, Customer/Operational Care teams) to be part of
    commercial strategydiscussions to increase success ratio for
    target opportunities
  • Build positive andprofessional relationships with vendors and
    overseas officesthat support the goals of the National Pricing
    team
  • Collaborativelydevelop a National Pricing process that is
    transparent tostakeholders with a continued review for process
    improvement
  • Establish clearand realistic expectations and goals for your
    team that can beaccurately measured
  • Develop aconsistent reporting process that measures specific
    KPl's establishedfor your team and is transparent to
    stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum); MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in sea logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online pricing systems.
  • Experience with freight forwarding, import/export, LCL, and FCL.
  • Proven organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage time, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Sound knowledge ofincoterms
  • CIFFA certificate is Preferred
