Residential Construction Superintendent

Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring for a Residential Construction Superintendent in Salisbury and Charlotte, NC. The ideal Residential Construction Superintendent has experience with custom homes, good communication skills and leads with honesty and integrity. Overall responsibilities include overseeing the construction process from start to finish, ensure projects are completed within their timeframe, budget and to the highest standards. Salary is $80,000 - $115, 000 annually based on skillset and experience.

Residential Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities and manage personnel - resolving on-site conflicts that may arise
• Coordinate and schedule with subcontractors and deliveries to ensure project is adhering to the timeline
• Provide updates to management by monitoring project timelines and budgets
• Ensure compliance via safety regulations and building codes
• Conduct inspections of work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation (daily logs and reports)
• Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide project updates
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and clients to maintain safe and productive job sites and foster positive relationships

Residential Construction Superintendent Qualifications:

• 5+ years Construction Superintendent in residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, LEED) are a plus.

Salary:

• $80,000 - $115,000 annually based on skillset and experience
