Role Overview:
  • As a collaborating physician, you will play a vital role in our post-acute care practice by providing oversight and consultation to our nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Establish collaborative agreements: formalize partnerships with NPs and PAs
  • Facilitate regular communication: conduct monthly group video meetings to discuss clinical matters
  • Offer expert guidance: provide clinical oversight and consultation on complex cases
  • Chart review: complete a monthly chart review, per state requirements, typically 10%
Requirements:
  • Medical degree: MD or DO with an active medical license in Missouri
  • Psychiatric expertise: board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
  • Collaborative experience: proven ability to work effectively with NPs and PAs in a collaborative setting
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork: strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborating with healthcare professionals from various disciplines
  • Ethical standards: adherence to ethical principles and best practices in clinical care
  • Missouri residency: must be a resident of Missouri
