The AmplifyLearn.AI Center at the University of Washington is at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) into education. Our mission is to develop innovative AI/ML methods, study AI adoptions in educational settings, and create technology solutions that enhance K-12 learning experiences. The Center focuses on four key areas: Research, Technology Development, Training, and Public Engagement. The Center's work is funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and among others, enabling us to pursue cutting-edge research and development in AI for education.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Manager of Strategic Partnerships to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in expanding our reach and fostering relationships with school districts, funders, private companies, policymakers, and funders to deepen the Center's work and disseminate our findings to broaden the impact. This role will also work closely with the Center Director to lead and manage the operation and business of AmplifyLearn.AI.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Development

  • Reach out to and cultivate relationships with school districts and other educational partners
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with various stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand AmplifyLearn.AI's impact
    Event Management
  • Organize and oversee various events
  • Coordinate logistics, speakers, and attendees for conferences, workshops, and seminars
    Training
  • Manage the offerings of webinars and other training programs for data scientists and teachers
    Dissemination and Outreach
  • Lead marketing efforts to promote the Center's initiatives and research findings
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase awareness of the center's programs
  • Create and distribute promotional materials and content
    Program Management
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables
  • Prepare reports on program outcomes and impact
  • Assist the Director to manage the day-to-day operations of the Center
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree in Education, Public Administration, Business, or a related field
  • Four+ years of experience in Education Administration, Partnership Development, or a similar role
    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong understanding of K-12 education landscape and current trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience in event planning and management
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, technologies, and AI
  • Knowledge of educational research methodologies
  • Experience with grant writing and management
