Description:

We seek an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Current Lighting GLI Luminaires sales teams. We are open to the territory being in the Midwest, Northeaster US or SE US territory; must be close to metropolitan airport.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth
  • Building and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Developing and executing successful sales strategies

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance and professional development
  • Prior experience using Salesforce.com (SFDC) to track and close opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management

Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, preferably in the lighting industry or related field
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Experience with an Agent sales model and effective ways to motivate growth
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events

Compensation:

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more.
