CSafe is seeking a Sr. Director and Head of Global Partner Alliance to join our world class sales team! This role will be remote and can be based in the Americas, APAC, or Europe. This critical role will be globally responsible for the Alliance team that is owning, developing, and maintaining new and current relationships for CSafe with the primary focus on airlines and freight forwarders. This would include account management of existing airline and forwarder partners, set-up and execution of business collaborations with new airline and forwarder partners, promotion of the CSafe range of products, and the development and implementation of CSafe training and learning programs for these stakeholder groups.

Major objectives include strengthening and broadening the regional network of airline and forwarder partnerships, becoming the "partner of choice" for airline and forwarder partners, ensuring channel satisfaction with CSafe, increasing partner knowledge of CSafe systems and solutions, ensuring partner access and awareness of necessary tools, programs, and resources to promote and use CSafe solutions, and finally to increase overall business, revenues, and profitability with the partners' stakeholder group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the team that owns, develops and maintains long-term relationships and business with new and existing forwarder and airline partners, including a solid focus on airline and forwarder corporate offices, as well as key global/regional product managers and specialists responsible for the healthcare & pharmaceutical verticals.
  • Develop and implement a detailed and comprehensive account management plan for airline and forwarder partners, to include key objectives, key activities, and key expectations for assigned accounts. Where applicable, align account management plans with other members of the Partner Alliance team and sales team members to ensure consistency in approach.
  • Ensure that partners have the necessary awareness and product information (including sales and promotional materials), as well as have received the appropriate training within and across their organizations to successfully promote CSafe's range of products and to grow the business.
  • Serve as a resource for the CSafe sales team members (as needed and requested) as it relates to airline and forwarder partners within the regions to ensure partner support and alignment with specific CSafe sales objectives, account plans, and business development activities.
  • Assess, plan, and roll-out tactical co-promotional/co-marketing activities with airline and forwarder partners to support CSafe business growth.
  • Engage with internal functions as needed to support the forwarder and airline channel business, and to ensure internal awareness of the role's key initiatives and activities.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS/BA degree in business or fields including pharmacy, biology, and or drug development. MBA beneficial.
  • 10+ years of successful solutions business-to-business selling experience, preferably in the life sciences industry with experiences at pharma services, airline, freight forwarding/logistics companies preferred.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical supply and services, Pharma CDMO, Biologics, Life Sciences, Cold Chain Packaging, Cold Chain Logistics, and Air Cargo areas desired.
  • Knowledge of the Cell and Gene Therapy market and Data as it relates to the transport and logistics of pharmaceutical shipments is a plus.
  • Enterprise experience including key account management, and large account responsibilities.
  • Experience with air cargo and cold-chain transport products and services.
  • Consistent and verifiable track record for achieving sales quotas and winning new customers.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with customers and internal team members.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication.
  • Strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
  • Knowledge of complex sales tools such as "Strategic Selling."
  • Goal orientated, highly enthusiastic, dedicated to excellence and biased toward action.
