About the Team

Our Child and Family Team provides a wide range of behavioral health services from brief counseling to comprehensive wrap-around supports. Our clinicians specialize in trauma-informed and trauma-focused practices, early childhood intervention, intervention with older children and adolescents, and family intervention. We provide a comprehensive array of skill development services designed to enable children and adolescents to thrive in their community.

What You'll Do
  • Provide assessment, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Engage in additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan.

  • Pay Range is $60,000 to $77,649 (Unlicensed - Eligible for up to $18,200 in incentive with the average being $7,000) and $72,310 to $93,579 (Licensed - Eligible for up to $22,000 in incentive with the average being $8,500) depending on experience.
  • Licensed Clinicians are eligible for a $10,000 hiring bonus, which requires a two-year employment commitment.

  • Clinicians participate in regular individual and group supervision and are provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan.

CLINICIAN I

Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
  • Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crises; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Complete documentation and ongoing training requirements in a timely manner.

Qualifications
  • You have a master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field. AKBH can assist with supporting licensure on site for unlicensed clinicians.
  • Pay range is $60,000 - $77,649 depending on experience.
  • This position is eligible for annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.
  • AKBH consistently provides both individual and group clinical licensure supervision for our behavioral health providers who are working towards their post-master's and post-doctoral clinical licenses. The most common licenses for therapists in Alaska are Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Both require 100 hours of clinical supervision. Market rates for licensure clinical supervision are $150-$200 an hour. At 100 hours, that is a $15,000 to $20,000 value - and our staff receive it as a free benefit.

CLINICIAN II

Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
  • Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crises; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Complete documentation and ongoing training requirements in a timely manner.
  • Participate in opportunities to provide supervision and training to clinical interns, staff, and community members.

Qualifications
  • You have a master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field.
  • You're a licensed clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW required).
  • Pay range is $72,310 - $93,579 depending on experience.
  • This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.

CLINICIAN III (Sr. Licensed Clinician)

Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
  • Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crises; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Complete documentation and ongoing training requirements in a timely manner.
  • Participate in opportunities to provide supervision and training to clinical interns, staff, and community members.

Qualifications
  • You have a master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field.
  • You're a licensed clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW required).
  • Four years (full-time) or equivalent supervised experience providing professional level behavioral healthcare services to children and adolescents with identified mental disorders. This includes experience providing individual, group and family therapy services.
  • Pay range is $85,637 - $110,828 depending on experience.
  • This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.
