Nurse Manager - Imaging

The Nurse Manager provides leadership for day-to-day unit operations such as staffing, scheduling, budget planning, and cost containment activities. Acts as a liaison in interdepartmental and intradepartmental activities. This nurse demonstrates expertise and leadership in the role components of Manager, Teacher, Practitioner, and Researcher, with emphasis on mastery of management skills. Assists Nursing Leadership in developing, implementing, and monitoring the unit's Mission, Vision and Goals as aligned with the hospital strategic plan and annual operating objectives. The Nurse Manager organizes and directs the administration of a defined clinical area with 24-hour responsibility and accountability. The Nurse Manager has delegated authority to take immediate and appropriate action in the event of an emergency situation where there is clear and present danger that poses a threat of personal injury, or a threat of damage to property or equipment.

Experience

• Minimum of three years experience

License/Registration/Certifications

• Current R.N. Licensure in the State of South Carolina
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
