Senior Fund Accountant

Fund accounting role for private equity firm investing in multi-family properties. This role works closely with external auditors and Company management in providing accurate and timely financial information. Scope of work consists of but not limited to the following.

• Maintain GAAP financials for multiple "Funds" and its' related entities
• Maintain Investment and investor equity schedules
• Prepare and maintain monthly workpapers and account reconciliations
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Update quarterly audit workpapers and SOX backup requirements
• Perform special projects as needed and provide support to the accounting and finance management teams

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 5-7 years of Fund or private equity accounting experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as solid interpersonal skills.
