Description:
We are looking to hire a Professional Engineer II who has the expertise in the study, funding, design, and construction of municipal projects for public entities. In this role, you can expect to work on a variety of projects, including roadway, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water, and other related infrastructure.

Duties
Serves as Lead Engineer and Engineer of Record on projects with moderate supervisor support.
Directs and/or prepares funding applications, engineering reports, calculations, construction plans, specifications, project bid documents, and administers the construction contract
Communicates (verbal and written) with clients, government entities, and contractors as required to execute projects.
Participate and/or lead project presentations, interviews, project meetings, and conferences as requested.
Responsible for overseeing and mentoring personnel assigned to projects in which they are the lead engineer.
Execution of several projects simultaneously while meeting project timelines.
Compliance with the Moore Engineering Quality Management Plan.
Travels as required for project meetings, client meetings, or to construction sites.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Registered as a Professional Engineer at job location or ability to obtain registration within six months
Eight+ years of experience in civil engineering preferred
Knowledge of Civil3D software for design.
Knowledge of financing programs in ND and/or MN preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
