- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Responsible for the overall direction and management of information technology infrastructure for SHS including network, voice, server, data center, cloud strategy and migration, authentication and application delivery infrastructure. Oversees infrastructure department's capital and operating budgets. Oversees creation and adherence of strategic plans for infrastructure architecture. Ensures the successful execution of IT infrastructure services and projects in support of business objectives. Acts as a project sponsor for key projects to ensure stability of the infrastructure in a cost-effective manner.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Infrastructure department provides a robust, agile and secure IT Infrastructure that supports SHS business objectives. The infrastructure includes, but is not limited to the following services: data network, voice, Windows and Linux server, data center and centralized endpoint management.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in an Information Systems related field).
- Ten (10) years professional and/or leadership experience in information systems required.
- Seven (7) years of experience in the management of technical resources required.
- Project management and continuous process improvement experience required.
- Experience in multiple technology disciplines required.
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- An advanced degree in Information Systems, Business Planning or a related field preferred.
