C Squared Systems, LLC is an RF engineering, consulting, and software development company specializing in providing services for seamless wireless coverage from RF analysis to design and implementation of DAS systems and Wi-Fi networks to remote monitoring and management of complex multi-vendor environments. Site Portal, a customizable Web-based software, was engineered by C Squared Systems to remotely monitor and manage these complex multi-vendor environments.

Position Overview:

C Squared Systems is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team. The Senior Software Developer works closely with software management, sales teams, and customers when necessary, to translate requirements into real solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, modularized applications and contribute to the overall architectural decisions.
• Have a strong appreciation for agile methodologies and team collaboration as this role will interface with customer service, executive directors, designers, and other developers in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a strong understanding of PHP, object-oriented programming, design patterns, release engineering, dev-ops and the entire LAMP stack, including real-world experience deploying and supporting applications in a high volume/transaction environment.
• Improve the quality of the team's code through code review, including writing feature, unit, integration and regression tests to support existing and new codebases.
• Understand automation and benchmarking tools, code sniffers, linters, and interpreters in the context of a Symfony or Laravel project.

Skills/Requirements

• 5+ years designing and development experience
• Experience with PHP in a high transaction/multi-server environment (a minimum of PHP 5.6 & PHP 7 knowledge)
• Experience with MySQL in a high transaction/multi-server environment
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, and Zend
• Strong understanding of XML (XSLT a plus)
• Demonstrable knowledge of RESTful API concepts
• Proven experience with high transaction MySQL/PHP environments
• Proven experience with relational databases and indexing
• Working knowledge of OOP concepts
• Working Knowledge of design patterns, including Adapter, MVC, Singleton, Registry and others
• Working knowledge of networking concepts, including but not limited to: TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, HTTP/S, and SSH. NETCONF a plus.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD and Pipeline
• Strong Understanding of Gitflow and alternative branching styles
• Experience with GIT and bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
• Experience with documentation and presentation tools such as Confluence (UML a plus)
• Experience with Linux command line and Linux server administration
• Ability to work with a team to create project plans and design documents
• Deep understanding of micro-services architecture and best practices.
• Good understanding of Composer 1&2 and its use in new and existing projects

• Experience developing with Rust or C++ a plus
• Good understanding of Rust and development tools a plus
• Understanding of ETL pipelines a big plus
• Experience with Phing & Phinx a plus
