Position Summary: As a branch manager, you oversee all aspects of day-to-day branch operations, emphasizing team growth, leadership and community engagement. Managerial Responsibilities:
In your role, you play a crucial part in cultivating a culture of leadership excellence and development within your branch. You ensure team members demonstrate high ethical standards and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Your key responsibilities include fostering a supportive environment through hiring, training and ongoing coaching, conducting performance evaluations and recognition. You actively engage in resolving issues by maintaining open communication channels to address team member concerns and promote continuous improvement, for your branch and the credit union.
Education and/or Experience:
While this level of expertise will generally be attained with a minimum of three years in a previous management role and a bachelor's degree, priority will be placed upon the demonstration of the ability to meet qualifications without an absolute focus on duration of experience, in recognition that the attainment of such qualifications may be obtained at different paces by different individuals.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
Notary Public, Insurance Certificate and Signature Guarantee
NMLS Registration and annual renewal.

- Spearhead community outreach initiatives, sponsorships and events to increase branch visibility and support community development
- Represent the credit union in civic organizations, networking groups and community forums to promote positive engagement
- Collaborate with organizations within our communities to ensure financial services and education is accessible and inclusive for all
- Support and collaborate with branch team members to promote business development with bank at work, lunch and learn, and financial literacy events
- Coach team members to take a consultative approach with each member to deliver solutions to meet their specific financial goals
- Leverage digital tools to enhance member engagement, ensuring seamless access to online and mobile platforms, personalizing the experience
- Collaborate with internal and external partners such as financial advisors, merchant services, and mortgage originators to expand service offerings to our members
- Lead initiatives for growth and strategy with branch team by identifying and implementing innovative approaches to increase member engagement, expand relationships and drive overall branch performance
- Implement a variety of coaching sessions with team members where they can provide input on their development needs and receive actionable guidance on how to achieve their career goals
- Promote a culture of innovation and creativity by empowering team members to propose new ideas, and solutions that add value to the credit union and its members
- Encourage participation in job shadow program and other learning opportunities at the credit union
