Job Description: UI Development Support for Tupperware & ShardManager - Web Developer III

Summary:

• The main function of the web developer is to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications .
• The ideal candidate is a Mid- level Engineer experienced in Web development and React and can deliver well specified small to medium tasks/ projects with minimal guidance.
• They'll work in a distributed team setup primarily across MA, WA and CA offices in the US, where the tech-lead assigning the work will be Boston, MA based.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications.
• Monitor systems capacity and performance and provide technical support.
• Identify, escalate and document production impact issues.
• Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Web Development Experience using JavaScript and React is required
• Software engineer with 5-7 years of experience with frontend development
• 2-4 years of UI Development Experience using React
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles.
• Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Hack (PHP)
• Graph QL and Jest E2E testing

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required.
