Summary of Position:
Finance Assistant Manager(Tax) is responsible for overseeing financial tasks such as general settlements and tax reporting. You are covering various accounting tax, and settlements issues for multiple factories. Your position is focused on tax area including corporate tax, tax credit management, and incentives. Accounting responsibilities encompass monthly book closing, account management, reviewing transactions, and responding to audits.

Technical:

- Conduct monthly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial and account statements and reports.
- Help with the development and implementation of internal controls.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
[Tax managing]
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Conduct tax research and analysis, providing recommendations to optimize tax strategies.
- Assist in responding to tax inquiries and audits from regulatory authorities.
- Manage the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Review of all federal and state income and tax returns, annual reports and other compliance filings.
- Prepare and file foreign VAT returns and reconcile general ledger with supporting supplier invoices.

Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- At least 7 years' experience is required in the automobile or automotive parts manufacturing industry.
- Proficient knowledge of financial and accounting principles and theory
- Proficient knowledge in the applicable federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Strong knowledge of tax return preparation
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with others.
- Effectively handle pressures and demands of deadlines and completing priorities.
- Prior experience in a leadership or managerial position preferred.
- Advanced Knowledge of SAP is required.
Software Skills Required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with ADP
