Director Nursing - Home Health

The Director of Nursing and Clinical Services, under the direction of the Home Health Administrator, has the responsibility and authority for the overall management of nursing and clinical services of the Home Health agency, with 24-hour responsibility and accountability. The Director plans, organizes, collaborates and directs the home health agency; to include the development and implementation of programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care and practice; represents nursing to the medical staff. Accountable for the financial performance through monitoring of staff productivity, resource utilization, case weight analysis, OASIS accuracy, and revenue tracking. Implements QAPI programs to improve the quality of care, treatment and services delivered to patients and monitors quality assessment/performance improvement activities to include Press Gainey Patient Satisfaction, Home Health Compare and infection control and prevention. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulatory agencies. Assures financial and regulatory compliance, while working collaboratively with the Director of Quality. Lead role in strategic planning and medical staff relations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Master's Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Three (3) years progressive management experience

License/Registration/Certifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
• Valid SC Driver's License with good driving record
• CPR certification
