As we continue to expand our field services team, we are seeking an experienced Senior OSP Engineer/Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact telecommunications projects across Middle Tennessee.
As a Senior OSP Engineer/Project Manager, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of outside plant (OSP) projects to expand broadband networks, utilizing both aerial and underground design methods. You will manage large-scale projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline goals, and play a key role in the strategic growth of our field services operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full life cycle of OSP projects, including aerial and underground network designs for broadband expansion.
- Oversee RUS 515 contracts, ensuring all work is completed according to contract and industry standards.
- Develop, lead, and mentor a high-performing field services team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Fiber Design, cable count assignment, Make Ready, and permitting processes to ensure optimal network performance and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with permitting authorities to secure approvals and navigate complex right-of-way (RoW) and easement issues.
- Utilize GIS tools to enhance project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful project execution and completion.
-Train staff on IKE GPS and field data collection.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience as an OSP engineer or project manager, with a strong focus on large-scale telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in OSP design principles, including both aerial and underground methods.
- Experience managing RUS 515 contracts and overseeing contract compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and leading field teams.
- In-depth knowledge of fiber splicing, cable assignments, and network optimization practices.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with CAD and GIS tools (ArcGIS or similar).
