The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Nephology, is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor to provide patient care for patients with chronic kidney disease, end stage kidney disease, and post-transplant general nephrology care at our Hyde Park location. This appointee will focus on outpatient and inpatient kidney medicine and will maintain an active and productive clinical portfolio. Other duties include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.

Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate (MD) or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be board certified or board eligible in nephrology.

We especially welcome applicants with experience in inpatient hospital care as well as outpatient in-center dialysis therapies.
