Our unique model allows the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to serve employees and covered dependents of local industries, providing an exciting opportunity for a provider who enjoys providing primary care and urgent care.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity:
  • Monday - Friday 8a - 5p.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments for employees including physical exams, health histories, and screenings.
  • Provide timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment for employees and dependents, and management of work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.
  • Offer guidance and education to employees on injury prevention, health promotion, and wellness strategies.
  • Home base is in Southern Pines, with travel required to other clinics within a 1-hour radius.

Qualifications

  • PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
  • NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
  • Prior Occ Health experience required.
  • Other preferred qualifications include background in workers comp, working at employer sites, experience conducting veteran exams and/or NC disability exams.
  • Must have clean background, NC licensure, and NC DEA.
  • DOT certification, and AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
  • CAOCH and NIOSH certifications are a plus.
