We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to oversee and lead a technical program that delivers Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solution in the cloud, with network, security, and O&M services across multiple classification levels in the environment. The Program Manager will maintain a symbiotic relationship with their adjacent contracts and operations counterpart. All leaders will work together to support the contract overall and develop/deliver solutions that ensure we are performing safely, at the requisite level of quality, on schedule, and on cost. Program Managers will report directly to a Director of Programs.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to oversee and lead a technical program that delivers Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solution in the cloud, with network, security, and O&M services across multiple classification levels in the environment. All leaders will work together to support the contract overall and develop/deliver solutions that ensure we are performing safely, at the requisite level of quality, on schedule, and on cost. Program Managers will report directly to a Director of Programs.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will:
- Lead an engineering program that is delivering a MBSE solution in the cloud.
- Oversee the contract execution by interacting directly with our team members providing Tiers 2 and 3 support to a dispersed customer base.
- Serve as the primary interface with the customer, maintain and promote good customer relationships.
- Deliver contract deliverables, including PMR, BMR, financials and other customer status updates.
- Be responsible for the staffing of the program(s) and providing career development guidance, as necessary.
- Lead a team developing solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems.
- Execute programs from proposal through contract closeout phase, preparing plans and developing or assisting with project cost estimates and proposal deliverables.
- Prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resource needs.
- Proactively and collaboratively support review work statements / scope to ensure they are adequately defined and executable.
- Coordinate project activities, deliverables, and action items.
- Execute processes and develop management plans with operations, anticipating and resolving schedule and budget deviations to meet management and project requirements.
- Coordinate with production, planning, contracts, supply chain, finance, etc. to ensure successful project execution.
- Evaluate performance, develop mitigation plans, and resolve subcontractor issues as needed.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate program metrics (KPIs) including budget and schedule and prepare status reports and recovery plans to inform leadership and customers.
- Work with risk managers to ensure risks and opportunities are properly captured, appropriate risk mitigation activities are identified, and risk mitigation is effective and communicate appropriate program metrics to leadership and customers.
- Understand and adhere to applicable standards and laws, coordinating with various departments for successful project execution.
- Manage conflict collaboratively and support meetings and tasks assigned by the Director of Program
Required Skills and Education
- PMI Certified Program Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience managing MSP engineering work associated with the design, development, maintenance, and testing of infrastructure for desktop application packaging and deployment technologies.
- Knowledge of Clouds, Networking, and Enterprise architecture
- Ability to represent the team and deliver status reports to internal and external leadership.
- Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Detail oriented with problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
