We are looking to hire a talented IT Manager to join our team. You will be supporting all aspects of servers, Linux/UNIX operating systems, backups and recovery, and related infrastructure applications. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebases.

We are looking to hire a talented IT Manager to join our team. You will be supporting all aspects of servers, Linux/UNIX operating systems, backups and recovery, and related infrastructure applications. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebases.
Responsibilities
- Providing 24x7 on-call support for critical system issues
- Designing and implementing solutions that meet business requirements
- Working closely with the CTO to maintain secure systems and processes
- Monitoring and analyzing the impact of new technology on existing and future capacity
- Defining and executing a regular patching schedule for all systems
- Coordinating infrastructure changes with appropriate teams to ensure uninterrupted service
- Proactively monitoring and collecting performance data as well as conducting real-time analysis of systems to mitigate business impacting events
- Work closely with the Human Resources department to coordinate new hire setup (system purchases, email, etc.) and off boarding and disabling accounts for departing employees.
- Maintaining design and operational documentation for all systems supported by the infrastructure team
- Track, manage, and update escalation tickets through Jira and communicating workaround and solutions to cross-functional leaders.
- Participating in strategic and tactical operational planning for business continuity
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years prior experience delivering and supporting technology services
- Expert level understanding of Linux/UNIX operating systems
- Intermediate understanding with AWS.
- Advanced ability to communicate complex technical information to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directing individual demonstrating teamwork, organization skills and well-structured working approach given multiple priorities
- Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed teams
- Proven history converting complex business processes into simplified system designs
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications and software management tools
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels with international teams while being sensitive to cultural diversity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, certifications or equivalent experience is a plus
