We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the development and maintenance of our global Life Sciences web platform. The platform consists of 140 websites built on a single template system, serving multiple business units and regions. As a key member of our IT organization, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve customer experience, and ensure successful delivery of technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
* **Product Vision and Roadmap**
Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to define product vision, goals, and
requirements
Partner with customer experience and Project Management to develop and maintain a
the product roadmap, prioritizing features and projects based on business needs and
customer feedback
Ensure alignment with overall IT and business strategies
Ensure requirements are aligned with business needs and customer expectations
* **Technical Leadership**
Work closely with the Delivery IT team to design, develop, and deploy platform
enhancements
Ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of platform features
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to define and maintain clear lines of
roles and responsibilities.
* **Stakeholder Management**
Liaise with various stakeholders, including executive leadership, customer experience
team members, and delivery teams
Communicate product vision, progress, and plans to stakeholders
Ensure effective issue resolution and risk management
* **Testing and Quality Assurance**
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define testing strategies and ensure
comprehensive testing of platform features
Ensure SLC processes are followed diligently and SLC documents created in line with
standards
* **Metrics and Analytics**
Track key platform metrics (KPIs), such as website performance, user engagement, and
conversion rates
Analyze data to inform product decisions, optimize platform performance, and improve
customer experience
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
* **Change Management**
Partner with Delivery IT to develop and implement change management plans to ensure
smooth deployment of platform enhancements
Collaborate with the Delivery IT team to ensure effective communication and training
for end-users and support teams
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during platform deployments
Requirements
* **Education**
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
MBA or related advanced degree a plus
* **Experience**
10 years of experience in a technical product management role
Experience in the Life Sciences industry, preferably in a global organization
Proven track record of launching successful products and features
* **Skills**
Strong software development process background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with web CMS and web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* **Certifications**
PMP or Scrum Master certification a plus
Nice to Have
* **Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure**
* **Experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics*
