Role- Workday Advance Compensation Consultant
Location- Aliso Viejo CA
Mode OF Hire-Full Time
The Opportunity:
Support Workday deployments and AMS/production customers across Compensation and Advanced Compensation Workstreams.
Will need to be able to provide recommendations and best practices for global compensation and advanced compensation functionality (merit, bonus, and stocks).
Lead design, configuration, migration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM/Compensation and Advanced Compensation related work items while remaining flexible to clients' changing needs.
Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members and be comfortable directing our offshore teams around module configuration and support activities.
Supporting pre-sales activities around scoping and SME around defined modules
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
At least 5-7 years of hands-on Workday experience with 3+ years of recent experience around implementing and supporting HCM, Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation functional areas.
HCM, Comp and Advanced Compensation active certification (within last 2 years) is preferred to allow candidate to be added to Workday customer scorecard for project work.
Ability to lead medium to large projects (acquisition, phase X, etc.) for the full project lifecycle in areas(s) of expertise- from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live/AMS support.
Persuasive communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively work across internal teams while managing client and stakeholder expectations.
Experience working with and leading offshore teams during projects and for ongoing support of above-mentioned modules. This will require being able to take early morning and late evening calls to meet global stakeholders.
This is a remote role, but occasional travel may be required
Need self-starters with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to work in a dynamic and fast-growing Workday partner.
