Description:
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is looking for an experienced .NET Developer with an extensive background in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, Entity Framework and Oracle PL/SQL
The candidate will be part of an agile team focused on continued development and configuration of an electronic permitting (ePermitting) system for the Department and its various bureaus. The candidate must also be extremely strong and well-versed in UI/UX design, including HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, and JQuery. Extensive experience utilizing Visual Studio 2013 or newer is required. Experience managing work items and source code in TFS/VSTS is also required. The ideal candidate would also have familiarity with Oracle Data Provider (ODP.NET). This individual will work as part of a larger development team that is following agile development methodologies, so experience with agile/SCRUM development is preferred.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Codes enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards.
Design and Develop UI screens.
Develop these enhancements or features using: C#, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2013/2015.
Tests enhancement and development programs.
Participates in structured code reviews / walkthroughs.
Executes all required process steps.
Creates and provide content for operational documentation to Technical Writers.
Utilizes configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application.
Work in an agile team environment.
Manage and complete assigned tasks in TFS/VSTS
Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
