Experience Required
- Worked on container-based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Hands-on experience on Cluster Architecture, Installation & Configuration
- Hands-on Experience on Application Environment, Configuration and Security - including Discover and use resources that extend Kubernetes (CRD), authentication, authorization, and admission control.
- Hands-on Experience with Container Orchestration, Cloud Native Architecture, Cloud Native Observability, Cloud Native Application Delivery
- Hands-on expertise with application design, software development (preferably Java) and automated testing
Roles & Responsibilities
- As a part of core team member of cloud migrations, should contribute to application selection for the next waves of migration.
- Collaborate with the technology vendors and cloud partners to help build/implement versatile innovative solutions to secure workloads in private cloud environments.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders such as platform, security, network, database, operations, and application to understand the risks, mitigation plans, milestones to align with Cloud projects.
- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application migration and maintenance.
- Exposure to application discovery and dependency mapping as part of app migration and rationalization activities and tooling
- Contribute to best-in-class developer experience on the cloud platforms.
- Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
- Collaborate and liaise with stakeholders across different locations whose inputs are needed for the migration tool development.
- Work closely with product managers, platform, and application engineers to implement versatile solutions to exciting, large-scale problems.
- Be a productivity multiplier for your team by analyzing your work flow and contributing to enable the team to be more effective, productive, and demonstrating faster and stronger results.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
