Position Summary Responsible, for radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission networks Deployment and Optimization. Performs interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, parameter definition, and ancillary equipment Provides suggestions and analysis of large wireless network performance. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This role will interact across multifunctional groups and with customers. Use theoretical professional concepts and applies company established practices and processes to deliver work with little supervision. Must have detailed knowledge of 5G and 4G Standards, Deployment, Test, Optimization and Design

Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs test plans to ensure accurate and consistent product testing. Perform systems testing, verification and work to resolve issues related to new Radio product offerings. Leads teams or Drive testers and Junior engineers to bring new RAN nodes on air and ensure that they are working properly. Follows established testing processes and procedures to ensure reliability, accuracy and thorough gathering and analysis of data. Writes non-complex code to automate test set-ups and procedures. Maintains knowledge of existing, current and newly developed base station products and components. Assist with
creation of Test Plan, Trouble Reports, automation scripts, MOP, etc. & generate of
problem reports, and insuring the satisfactory resolution of all problems. Interfaces with
software/hardware design groups and provides assistance for their activities of debugging
and resolution. Keeps abreast of new and emerging technologies through attendance and
participation at conferences and by reading technical journals, publications and Website
technical resources. Prepares reports, compiles and analyzes data, and engineering information
for the effective communication of processes, results, plans, recommendations and
conclusions. Can lead remote technical teams for short term projects.

Background/Experience Bachelor's Degree in engineering with more than 6 years of directly related experience is required.
Prior experience in telecommunications engineering activities a plus. Must be able to write,
read, analyze and interpret technical journals and procedures. Must be able to support presentation of technical information in various business settings to audiences of varying backgrounds.

Must have a valid US driver's license

Necessary Skills and Attributes
The ability to development and maintain excellent working relationships with multiples
levels within the company and with external contacts including carrier customers,
authorized service agents, sales & equipment service representatives, etc. Must be able to
influence others in acceptance, approval and to provide technical clarification. The ability
to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and
tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments. The ability to
read, write and provide critical technical review and prepare reports, technical manuals,
test procedures and technical product repair information. Demonstrated English language
competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external communications. Work under very little supervision and guidance to identify and
ensure achievement of production team goals and to complete individual work assignments
within established time frames. The demonstrated ability to solve problems involving highly
diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned things.
Exposed to situations where only broad and general guidelines for solving problems exist.
Job duties require analysis and judgment of functional practices and daily experiences be
used to determine appropriate courses of action.

Physical/Mental Demands Work generally performed in an office, field or user environment. May operate PC and product test equipment between 50% - 100% in an alternating sedentary and highly
mobile position. Lift, move, or adjust general test equipment, boxes, supplies, materials or
products weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and
procedures. High level of visual acuity, numeric/character distinction and moderate color
distinction for accurate test equipment operation, for information analysis and error
recognition.

May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on
position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including
but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical
responsibilities.
