Duties/Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Chemical Terrorism (CT) Laboratory supervisor, this position will be an analyst of the CT unit.
This position will perform testing and sample preparation for testing for the Laboratory Response Network for Chemical Threats (LRN-C). This position will also assist in the analysis of Per- and Polyfluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS) in serum, plasma, or whole blood for our academic partners.
Testing will utilize complex Gas Chromatography (GC-MS) and Liquid Chromatography/ Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) instrumentation and preference will be given to those with experience. Data analysis with review of run Quality Control (QC) is required. Routine annual and as needed revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be required along with detailed documentation, adherent with CLIA / CLIS standards. Sample preparation, accessioning, ordering supplies, and taking inventory.
