Sr Electrical Engineer

What You Will Do

In this role, you will be the technical lead for our electrical design team for both new design developments and sustaining.

Primary Responsibilities

• Technical lead on development projects
• Define the low-level requirements necessary to design an electronic circuit board
• Define the architecture of the electrical circuit board
• Support/review the creation of the schematics for the electronic circuit boards
• Support/review the Design Description artifacts based on analysis, calculations and simulations
• Review the low-level verification test procedure for the circuit board
• Support the project management team
• Analyze sustaining issues and define solutions using root cause analysis and problem solving methodology
• Responsible for the design artifacts supporting the Certification dossier
• Mentor junior engineers
• Support the proposal team with evaluation of the technical constraints and effort to bring the project to completion

Education

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

8+ years of Designing electronic circuit boards in a process-controlled environment.

Must be a US person

• Knowledge of process-heavy design environment
• Excellent root cause analysis and problem solving skills
• Digital and analog circuit design and analysis skills
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, high product mix environment
• Thorough understanding of formal configuration management
• Strong experience with electronic design tools (ePADS, Xpedition, PSpice,...)
• Must be familiar with EMI mitigation design concepts
• Experience with DO-160, DO-254 and MIL-STD-704/461 is a plus
• Knowledge of product life cycle flow management
• Excellent oral and written communication
