Applications Development and Test Engineer III - Software Design Engineer

What We Need:

• Experience: You've been in the game for 5-7 years, tackling software challenges.
• Education: Got a Bachelor's degree? Perfect! Especially in computer science or something related.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Love coding in C/C++? Awesome!
  • Dabbled in Android framework for 3+ years? Even better!
  • Know your way around hardware setups and manufacturing? That's a big plus!
  • Familiar with tech stuff like I2C, DTSI, battery/charging drivers, firmware, and power optimization tools? You're speaking our language!

Top Tech Skills We're After:

Solid C/C++ skills (at least 5 years).

Android framework wizardry (3+ years).

Hardware tinkering and manufacturing experience (at least 2 years).

What You'll Be Doing:

• Figuring out what the system needs, documenting it, and then building software solutions to match.
• Tailoring system software to meet specific client needs.
• Writing up detailed plans for software and testing them out.
• Testing and fixing up other people's solutions.
• Making sure everything works smoothly post-launch and fixing any bugs that pop up.
• Working closely with other teams to solve any system hiccups.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a tech field.
• 5-7 years of software experience.
• A knack for C/C++.
• Good grasp of Android and Linux frameworks.
• You know your way around hardware.
• Testing and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
