Responsibilities:
- This includes maintaining physical and cloud -based networks, servers and security systems while adhering to industry regulations and security requirements.
- Implement infrastructure and system modifications, make suggestions for improvements to systems and processes, and deliver functional technology systems that advance the goals of client.
- With the fast-paced growth of technology sectors, administrator responsibilities often expand to meet expectations.
- They serve as a key member of the IT department and provide an essential service to business continuity.
- Maintain infrastructure devices including performing OS/Hardware/Virtual Machine upgrades, physical replacement, standards compliance, and vulnerability research/mitigation.
- Drives resolution of technical issues for on premise and vendor managed applications and systems.
- Responsible for configuration and implementation of on premise and cloud infrastructure as directed by the Director of IT
- Associated applications include Azure Services, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Security Center, Azure Active Directory, OneDrive, PowerApps, Power Automate, Flow, and others.
- Provides well rounded support by being familiar with LAN/WAN/NOC, system installation/configuration, security technologies, server, and workstation management.
- Assists with development and management of Microsoft 365 platform, including Office 365, Azure, AD, Data Warehouse, etc.
- Monitors, analyses, diagnoses root cause and resolves issues in collaboration with other IT cohorts.
- Provide ticket time entries at the time of service and in conformance with published ticket and time SOPs.
- Provides effective communication to stakeholders of technical concerns, issues, and solutions.
- Contact and collaborate with vendors and other 3rd party businesses for trouble/ticket reporting.
- Responsible for providing intermediate level support of operating systems, applications, hardware, and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, phones, or appropriate software for corporate staff and affiliates if needed.
- Attends selected seminars or training programs and all required meetings and in-service sessions.
- Communicates effectively with staff regarding projects and demonstrates skills in working with others involved in the project plan.
- Contributes to the team effort by completing other related tasks as needed.
