Description:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Wireless Networks team. You will be a key contributor providing translation of technical issues and key performance indicators to management. You will have your finger on the pulse of the 4G/5G customer network. You will support the business, representing and administering enhancements and fixes, and provide recommendations for efficiency and improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Extract, Transform, and Load data using SQL queries, Excel, and Power BI.
Take requirements from the business and create visualizations in Power BI.
Point of contact for customers and internal users for other systems, their access, and notification of outages.
Strong on customer support as well as data analysis of trends and KPIs.
Proven experience creating and delivering professional presentations in PowerPoint to upper management.
Strong MS Excel skills, ability to perform analysis, creation of charts and graphs, and experience writing macros is a must.
Advanced usage of multiple dashboard tools to create visual displays for storytelling of metrics.

Success Criteria:
Strong architecture knowledge and the ability to propose improvements which will result in improved performance for dashboards and reports.
Efficient and professional communicator, fluent in English, both oral and written.
Able to participate in on-call 24x7 rotation.

Education, Work experience and necessary Skills & Attributes:
Bachelor's Degree or higher, or equivalent experience
JIRA and/or ITIL certifications preferred
Current experience in advanced creation and administration of dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau
MS Excel advanced knowledge to include creating macros with regular use
Experience in a TAC or other call center or customer support function
Excellent analytical skills to investigate and evaluate trending data
Systems administration and architecture experience in a Windows/SQL environment a plus
Heavy experience with incident management and/or CRM systems to include SalesForce and JIRA

Ability to achieve results within established time frames and requirements. Develop accurate proposals and designs to meet customer needs.

Physical/Mental Demands:
Must be able to work under pressure, sometimes with tight deadlines
Work generally is performed in an office and/or lab environment - may need to travel 0 to 10%
Comfortable conducting presentations and speaking in front of internal and external (customer) teams and leadership
Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC's, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.
