Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:
Work on an Agile development team to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using deep expertise in distributed microservices, big-data technologies (HIVE, Presto, Spark, Hadoop, etc.) and full-stack systems.
Collaborate with the cross-functional team to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios and deliver technical solutions to those objectives.
Develop API platform to serve big data at interactive speed; built on AWS using AWS Well-architected principles.
Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, and participate in internal & external technology communities to drive innovation.
Demonstrate growth mindset, ownership, customer obsession, and strong judgement.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other relevant Engineering field.
10+ years' experience in Software Engineering with demonstrated leadership traits.
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or SQL
2+ years' REST/web services experience and writing complex SQL queries against Relational databases
