IT - Applications Development Consultant III

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
Participate in scrum ceremonies, user story reviews, solutioning sessions
Should be able to work both as a developer as well as a QE
Develop/Test code
Automated unit testing

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? Full stack Java / J2EE development experience, MySQL or equivalent relational database (Oracle, etc.), SpringBoot

What skills/attributes are a must have?
3 years of Full stack Java / J2EE development experience - Intermediate level or higher
3 years of MySQL or equivalent relational database (Oracle, etc.) - Not DBA level, but need to be seasoned with reading or writing queries
1+ years' experience with Spring framework / SpringBoot
Experience in one or more ORM technologies (like Hibernate, JPA, or similar) - know how to integrate with these frameworks

What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Experience with JSP, Groovy, APIs/microservices
Experience with automated unit testing technologies (such as JUnit, Spock, or similar)
Experience with Splunk
Experience with Docker / Docker-compose
Experience with Kafka / Rabbit MQ
Experience with Unix
Healthcare/Insurance Industry Knowledge
