Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement IBM DataPower solutions to support various business requirements and integration needs.
  • Integration: Integrate IBM DataPower with various backend systems, including databases, web services, and other enterprise applications.
  • Configuration: Configure DataPower appliances to optimize performance, security, and scalability of the infrastructure.
  • Security: Implement and maintain security policies, SSL configurations, and access controls on DataPower appliances to ensure the security of data and transactions.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance and health of DataPower appliances, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and infrastructure teams, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in IBM DataPower development and integration and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the infrastructure.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience working as an IBM DataPower Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM DataPower appliances, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, REST, and other web services protocols and standards.
  • Experience with security protocols and standards such as SSL, TLS, OAuth, and SAML.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, and routing.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
