Job Description:
You will contribute as a key member of our fast-paced team in the testing of data capabilities that support applications across the enterprise. These applications & technologies may include but are not limited to: PowerBI and other BI tools, and performing all facets of data testing. Create and execute test plans & scripts that will validate the projects data quality . Expect to use your knowledge of development and testability to effect better design, promote accurate engineering decisions, and implement bug prevention strategies.
Essential Job Functions:
Analyze and support Business Intelligence solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications using Power BI
Test effective visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards with themes following UX guidelines and using latest features available in Power BI to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story.
Experience in Data Testing, Data Conversion, Data Migration, Data Transformations, Data Profiling, Data Analysis and Data Quality Validation
Knowledge of any of database systems like SQL Server, Oracle or db2 etc and experience writing complex queries and creating stored procedures.
Hands on experience with GCP, using Big Queries.
Good understanding or knowledge in Azure Cloud
Good exposure to Python.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Review and analyze system specifications.
Collaborate with development teams and other testers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Evaluate developed product according to specifications
Working knowledge of test management tools like HP ALM/ Jira/ Qmetry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good understanding of Agile methodology.
