Description:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate and select modern server and storage technologies for deployment in SIG Sauer's data centers.
Servers such as Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, or Cisco UCS
Storage such as Pure FlashArray, Infinidat InfiniBox, or VMware vSAN
Fibre Channel networking such as Brocade or Cisco MDS
Audit and secure services across development, test, and production environments by collecting log data, configuring local firewalls, and installing certificates.
Work with backup technologies such as Veeam B&R, Zerto, or Commvault.
Configuration of LDAP solutions like Microsoft Active Directory, Apple Open Directory, or ForgeRock OpenDJ.
Installing and configuring SAML Identity Providers like Azure AD, Oracle Identity Cloud, or Okta.
Administration of AV/EDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, Defender, or SentinelOne.
Configuring monitoring solutions such as PRTG, Nagios XI, or WhatsUp Gold.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, RDP, LDAPS, HTTPS, and SMTP over TLS.
Relational database fundamentals like MSSQL, MySQL or Oracle and hands-on experience with non-relational/NoSQL alternatives like MongoDB or Redis.
Participate in on-call rotation, help identify and resolve all hardware and software technical problems and communicate system changes and outages with stakeholders. May require after-hours or weekend work.

Education and/or Experience:

Experience with Microsoft System Center products like SCCM, SCOM, or SCVMM.
Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
RHEL/Oracle Linux 7/8 and Debian 10/11
Windows 10/Server 2016 and up
Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or Xen.
Awareness of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
Experience with one or more configuration management tools like Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet.
Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with monitoring, reporting, and logging tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, AlienVault, or ArcticWolf.
Familiarity with HashiCorp tools like Terraform, Packer, Vault, and Consul.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and possess reliable transportation.

Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
