Job Description:
  • As a Quantitative User Experience Researcher (Quant UXR), you'll play a lead role in helping partners in UX, product management, and technology understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Your work will generate essential inputs for designing useful, usable products that meet and exceed user needs.
  • You'll work with stakeholders across functions and levels and influence all stages of product development.
  • Our Quant UXRs use methods and tools that include survey research, in-product intercepts, behavioral analytics, regression analysis, and logs analysis.
  • This role reports to the Head of Quantitative Research.


Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in an applied research setting or similar.
3+ years of product research experience in an applied setting
Expertise in survey design and analysis
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and concrete recommendations for improving the user experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience designing, collecting and analyzing data from site intercepts
Demonstrated expertise in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics (e.g., t-test, correlations, regression analysis), and experimental design
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, Qualtrics) and data visualization tools
Proficiency with behavioral data analysis tools (e.g., Glassbox, Pendo, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)

Preferred qualifications:
Master's or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
5 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
Experience building data dashboards
Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, Go), and with SQL.
Proficiency in programming computational and statistical algorithms for large data sets.
