Senior/lead developer - enterprise service bus trans' away from biztalk to aws serverless environ. Need dev to help with that and ap modernization. Deal with all the interfaces one by one moving from biztalk to aws serverless environment. Part of a scrum team and if so how is it organized? They are not traditional scrumbc of longevity of the proj which is until end of 2021 and they need to conform to multiple scheduling issues with production. Team size has 4 memebrs, 3 devs and 1 ba. Exp with xml/xslt? Yes, they should understand what xml and xslt is. Would they consider a .net dev with stron aws. No, they want python.....
Should understand oracle/pl sql or any rdbms.
They'l need ot understand how they do things currently, query data and extract data, use api's and understand what may already be written. SAM is a serverless templet so that's important.
Not leading at all, just wants the experience. Senior level.
1. Overview of product (modernization, support, backfill)
a. ESB-transitioning away from BizTalk to serverless AWS environment; needing to bring on a developer ot help with that transition.
b. AP modernization
c. Developing against interfaces, one by one to serverless
2. Is this position part of a SCRUM team, if so, how is it organized (# of team members/roles)?
a. Not trad'l SCRUM: longevity through 2021. Conforming to multiple scheduling issues when things go into production
b. Hybrid approach
c. Team size-4 other members (3 dev, 1 BSA)
3. Experience with XML/XSLT - Is this for 3rd party integration?
a. Position requires understanding-it's a must
b. 3rd party integration, some internal integration
4. Would you consider SR .NET developer with strong AWS?
a. Python or AWS, not .NET
b. Critical that they have been HANDS ON, certs are not enough
5. Heavy in Oracle PL SQL?
a. Using either, or relational databases: movement involves understanding how the current structure fits in
b. Transferring data from one system to another (via webservice or API)
6. SAM
a. SAM templates-cloud formation
b. No servers, using native AWS
c. Had a lot of AWS or Lambda, but only on EC2 is a hard sell

The AWS Software Developer - Lead develops strategic solutions for new services and functionality.
This role designs software and participates in programming, testing and documentation through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Timely and effective communications to the team, organization and outside vendors are regularly disseminated as part of this job function.
The position is for an AWS software developer, not a DevOps engineer or architect.
The following are required skills for the position:
Expertise in developing AWS cloud-native solutions using serverless technologies is required (services include AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Event Fork Pipelines)
Experience with AWS SAM.
Should be familiar with SAM local development, testing, and debugging as well as SAM templates / CloudFormation
At least two years' experience with Python is required
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certification (Developer/Solution Architect)
Experience with JSON and REST API
Experience with XML/XSLT.
Build and optimize SQLQueries and Stored procedures
Experience with Web Services (SOAP)
.NET/C# Experience
Should be proficient using GIT source control
Splunk experience
Relational Database Experience such as Oracle (preferred), SQL Server
Database Skills: PL/SQL, Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers etc
XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, WCF
Multi-threaded software solutions (desirable)
Must be able to switch among tasks on a frequent basis and remain productive
Should have superior debugging skills
Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with the clients and other technical staff
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
Formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects
Extensive experience with the most current software engineering standards, practices, methods, tools and trends
Serve as technical expert on development, coding, testing and debugging stages of application and system integration
