General Job Description:
Provides project management for network services team supporting Engineering Services and the tools they develop to support the services. Will manage development programs, customer delivery programs, integration programs as well as maintenance and support programs.
The tools team within Engineering Services plays a critical role in the success of each project. The main function of the tools team is to manage and maintain 3rd party tools as well as build in-house tools to support the pre-defined as well as on-demand needs of various teams. The tools to be supported vary in complexity from very simple ones based on short scripts to very complex ones utilizing cloud infrastructure.
The tools PM's main job will be to drive the on-time delivery of all tools requested with the highest quality. The role requires working with Samsung teams locally as well as sometimes with Samsung Headquarters in South Korea. The PM role requires experience in handling software development projects in an agile environment with fast-changing requirements and adjusting the development plans accordingly by realigning the resources and changing the project plans. The knowledge of agile software development techniques like Scrum and related activities will be very beneficial. The experience with ticketing platforms like Remedy Force and agile project management tools like Jira is highly desirable.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:
Lead team members in program execution including planning, executing, reporting, and assuring timely and cost effective completion of programs.
Host and drive daily, weekly, and on need-basis calls on working as well as the executive level to keep track of all active projects
Ability to gather all requirements sometimes conflicting in nature from various teams and prioritize those to meet business objectives
Work with complex and sometimes incomplete requirements and groom those as the project advances
Escalation of issues to the right levels and at the right times to the concerned stakeholders
Assign and delegate project tasks based on staff members' strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
See the roadblocks and issues ahead of time and take remedial actions to meet the objectives
Regular reporting on working as well as on executive level to show the progress, targets, and any risks or issues
Ensuring the team's delivery to the committed timelines tracking progress against the key milestones till the project completion
Work with 3rd party vendors for enhancing the tools being used as well as evaluating new options
Handle multiple projects at a time keeping in view the bigger picture to prioritize the work
Manage the changes in scope, timeline, and resources to meet and exceed business targets
Create, maintain, and share project documentation with all stakeholders
Carry out lessons learned exercises at the end of the projects as well as during the project to take corrective actions to meet the goals
Leadership skills to drive the work on a working level and provide the team with the needed support from other teams
Work closely with 3rd party vendors to ensure that all equipment in production is under contract that mirrors the customer support agreement. Document processes for managing escalations as needed with all 3rd party vendors.

including customer account teams, by attending appropriate conference calls, meetings, customer presentations and project reviews.
Experience in defining new processes and enhancing existing ones to improve the efficiency
Experience in Commercial Wireless Networks Operations is strongly desired
Strong technical background in two or more of the following: 3G, 4G or 5G RAN Networks
Experience with measuring TAC performance through identified metrics and KPIs, using data to improve efficiency and lower costs where appropriate
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented and process-minded leader, who is comfortable developing staffing, training, and operational plans
This position requires excellent communication skills as well as presentation and reporting skills.
Creative problem solving abilities and superb communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary for the successful candidate
Self-directed individual with ability to manage other resources in a matrix environment across Engineering, Deployment, Support Organizations and Customer organizations.
