DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
TABC requires the services of a Business Analyst 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Business Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development.
The Business Analyst (BA) position works on multiple projects at the same time that support the mission of the agency. This position performs project based business analysis work. The business analyst serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. This position may support more than one project or be assigned to special projects at any time. This BA will be involved at some level throughout the entire software development life cycle and must have a general understanding of project management tasks and the ability to drive work accordingly. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements, including requirements for enhancements post-implementation.
The agency prefers candidates who have experience working as a BA on software modernization projects.

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start April 8th, 2022 - this position is expected to be a client contract to hire.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the TABC. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. Majority of work will be performed at the TABC offices locates at 5806 Mesa Dr, Austin, TX 78731 - minimal remote work is expected.
