Position Overview:
The Reporting Developer (III) works under minimal supervision to design, test, and implement reports and Power BI dashboards. The person is also expected to be involved in production support for NA+ reports running daily from the Data Warehouse.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop complex Reports and Dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
Develop and unit test complex reports with accurate scheduling
Provide fully documented work, instruction, and training to peers, as required
Interact with the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in adherence with the defined enterprise standards
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
Role Specific Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in Reporting technologies
Other Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced understanding of complex enterprise data
Advanced knowledge of sql
Azure Experience needed
Not looking at any candidates that are not local to the D.C area. Candidates must be okay with going 4 days on site

- Provide estimates of level of work effort and time for completion
Develop and unit test complex reports with accurate scheduling
- Support existing reports and troubleshoot any data issues
Provide fully documented work, instruction, and training to peers, as required
Interact with the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in adherence with the defined enterprise standards
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
Role Specific Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in Reporting technologies
- Role Specific Experience: 6+ years in Dashboarding (Tableau/Power BI etc..).
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
- Extensive experience with Relational Databases Oracle 19c with JDBC thin and thick clients
- Experience in traditional waterfall and agile methodologies
Other Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced understanding of complex enterprise data
Advanced knowledge of sql
