Role:

The Digital Services Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the technical operations and strategic evolution of all digital services and integrations managed by the Digital Services team. This includes managing and optimizing platforms such as Digital Banking, Online Statements, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, Credit Score tools, financial wellness tools, and more. This individual will act as a technical liaison, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to drive innovation, enhance member experience, and ensure the optimal performance and security of the credit union's digital ecosystem.

Work Location:

This is an onsite position. Occasional remote work may be available for select positions and is subject to prior approval by management.

What you will be doing:

Technical Operations and Oversight:
  • Oversee the technical configurations, architecture, and performance of all digital services platforms and tools, ensuring consistent uptime, performance, and security.
  • Assist in maintaining key system metrics for tracking operational performance across services like Digital Banking, Online Statements, Mobile Deposit, Bill Pay, and Online Account Opening.

Issue Resolution and Escalation Management:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting the performance or member experience across all digital service platforms, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Develop and implement processes for efficient issue resolution and support escalation within the Digital Services team.

Vendor Management and Collaboration:
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors providing solutions for digital services, including Digital Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, and others, ensuring adherence to SLAs and service quality.
  • Work collaboratively with vendors to influence the product roadmaps and ensure alignment with the credit union's strategic goals.

Project Leadership and Execution:
  • Lead technical projects from planning through deployment for digital services platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, managing integrations across multiple digital platforms.

Strategic Roadmap Development:
  • Work closely with the Digital Services Manager to develop a 12-month roadmap, including strategic improvements, new features, and system enhancements for digital services and member-facing tools.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement forward-looking improvements.

Compliance, Risk, and Security Oversight:
  • Ensure all digital services comply with regulatory requirements and best practices in data security and fraud prevention.
  • Regularly review system vulnerabilities and collaborate on security improvements across digital platforms and services.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
  • Serve as a technical liaison, effectively translating technical concepts and updates to non-technical stakeholders across departments.
  • Facilitate strong collaboration with internal teams to align digital service initiatives with broader credit union objectives.

Continuous Improvement and Member Experience Optimization:
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of digital services platforms based on member feedback and analytics, driving changes that enhance the overall member experience.
  • Assist in managing feedback loops and analytical tools to proactively identify areas for improvement across all digital services.


What you'll bring along:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, systems administration, or a comparable role within the financial services industry.

Demonstrated success in leading and executing complex technical projects, including vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong expertise in digital banking technologies, security protocols, fraud mitigation strategies and integration frameworks.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and bridge the gap between the two.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Solid understanding of Credit Union operations and applicable banking regulations.

A strong passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
